Mission & Vision
The mission of Our Redeemer Lutheran School is to know Jesus and to make Him known by preparing students for an eternity in heaven and lives of service on earth through a Christ-centered education.
Our Redeemer Lutheran School will provide excellence in Christian education and serve more families with the Gospel.
Core Values 1
We gather the body of Christ around the mysteries of God- 1 Corinthians 4:1 | The Divine Service is the heartbeat of our congregational life as well as our individual lives in Christ. Because Christ is present in the Word, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, we are always striving to bring people together around these means of grace.
We pass on the faith handed down to the saints- Jude 3 | The Christian faith is passed on from one person to another. We make the most of every opportunity to share our faith with others, and we carry out the slow work of handing that apostolic faith on to the next generation.
Core Values 2
We belong to one another as members of Christ’s body- Romans 12:5 | We counter loneliness and disconnectedness by gathering around Christ and sharing life’s joys and sorrows with one another. We are a community that treasures face-to-face interactions.
We help people see Christ in neighbor- Matthew 25:40 | Living for oneself is a dead end. We help one another step into the meaningful life of serving Jesus by serving neighbor, fulfilling the vocations the Lord has assigned to each of us.
Core Values 3
We are a home away from home for the Lord’s pilgrim people- Hebrews 13:14 | God’s people are only passing through this world on the way to our heavenly home. Our eternal future inspires us to build a church community that reflects our hope of rest, belonging, and flourishing life.
